Over the past two years, more shoppers have done their holiday shopping in early November, as opposed to later in the month or in December, in order to avoid inventory and supply chain issues around the holidays. However, this year the primary motivating factor driving early purchases will be inflation.


Half of all holiday buyers are expected to be susceptible to loss of loyalty due to price sensitivity. Some product categories – luxury brands, grocery, and department stores, are more liable.
