
Renault Accelerates the Launch of the Iconic R5 with Seedtag’s Neuro-Contextual AI Insights

Today, Renault is accelerating its transformation toward sustainable mobility, with electric vehicles at the core of its strategy. The launch of the Renault 5 E-Tech Electric reflects this vision, reintroducing an iconic model redesigned for a new generation, combining sustainability, connected technology, comfort, and modern urban style.
Renault aimed to maximize the impact of the launch of the iconic R5, positioning it as a reference in the urban electric vehicle category. Beyond generating awareness, the brand sought to deeply understand audience behavior and extract actionable learnings that could inform future R5 activations.
The challenge was to analyze and compare two key target groups, a younger audience and a more adult audience, while uncovering new, previously unexplored interest territories. Renault needed to move beyond predefined assumptions to identify which audience showed stronger affinity for the model, and in which contextual environments engagement and attention were highest.
To address this challenge, Renault partnered with Seedtag and activated Seedtag LAB, Seedtag’s exclusive neuro-contextual analysis solution designed to uncover deep audience insights through neuro-contextual intelligence.
Using a views-driven campaign in premium environments, Seedtag analyzed the interests and content territories of both younger and adult audiences, activating the Gallery with Video format to maximize visibility and engagement. This approach enabled Renault to translate its initial audience definitions into meaningful interest-based territories, connecting with users in contexts aligned with their mindset and intent.
By evaluating key performance indicators such as CPCV, VTR, CTR, and engagement rate, Seedtag LAB revealed new and unexpected interest expansions, allowing Renault to redefine its targeting strategy, identify the most responsive audience segment, and generate learnings that can be applied to future R5 launches and activations, all without relying on personal data.
